“Should I contract new crop canola?”
On the one hand, the new crop prices above $800/tonne or above $19.00/bu are attractive.
On the other hand, some producers are hesitant to commit to new crop sales.
Mix in some FOMO (the Fear of Missing Out), and the producer’s decision-making can be paralyzed.
We will look at both the long-term MGEX Canola contract price chart and the November 2022 Futures Contract for this analysis.
